Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip CEO Alec Coles OBE has been named 2021 Arts & Culture Western Australian of the Year. Culture and the Arts Minister David Templeman congratulated Mr Coles on his outstanding achievement in leading the development of the new museum.
Minister Templeman said "I sincerely congratulate Alec Coles on his outstanding achievement in delivering such an exciting, engaging, inspiring museum for the people of Western Australia. Nationally and internationally the WA Museum Boola Bardip will play a very significant role in positioning Perth as a centre for cultural excellence and Western Australia as a destination for cultural tourism. The Bledisloe Cup is a rugby union competition between the national teams of Australia and New Zealand that has been contested since the 1930s.
Perth's 2019 and 2021 Bledisloe Cup matches were secured for Perth by the State Government, through Tourism WA, in partnership with Rugby Australia. Rugby union fans around Australia and New Zealand can snap up tickets from 10am today (AWST) to Perth's Bledisloe Cup Test on August 21 at Optus Stadium. The tickets, priced from $49 and available through http://www.wallabies.rugby, will give fans the chance to witness the only Bledisloe test to be played on Australian soil this year. |
