The Women in Print 2023 Breakfast Series has been launched, with the Perth event set to take place on 24th May with venue to be confirmed. Seeking to champion the many exciting pathways open to women in the print and visual communications industry, FutureNow has joined the sponsor list for the event in 2023.
The 2023 keynote speaker will be Danielle Dobson who will headline the Series in all locations, exploring her book Breaking the Gender Code. Danielle is a speaker, author, facilitator and mother. Susan Heaney, chair, Women in Print, said, “Often women feel they are failing if they reach out for support and approach their professional lives with an invincible attitude. Breaking the Gender Code is about assessing that and looking to how we can equip ourselves with skills to feel empowered, recognising our contributions and feeling valued in what we do. I think it is topical, our Women in Print community will be able to walk away from the events with skills they can start using immediately.” Established in 2007, Women in Print is a collaboration of women across the print communications industry. It acts as a support team offering opportunities to network whilst benefiting women from all walks of life, in and around the industry. Their events, webinars and engagement sessions throughout the year provide the opportunity for women in the print industry to share knowledge, work within a professional community and build support networks for professional development and growth.
