The Federal government has launched a new digital strategy, Digital economy strategy: A leading digital economy and society by 2030, ahead of the 2021-22 budget. Launched by the Prime Minister and the Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and the Digital Economy on 6 May 2021, the Digital Economy Strategy will "map the pathways to achieve (our future prosperity), drawing on the Government’s previous investments and new actions to meet our ambition. The Strategy targets investment in emerging technologies, building digital skills, encouraging business investment and enhancing government service delivery."
