Key report affirms positive attitudes Australians hold towards the value of Arts and culture.
The report from A New Approach (ANA) entitled 'A View from middle Australia, perceptions of Arts, Culture and creativity' presents positive key findings that mainstream Australians have towards the importance of arts and culture within their own lives, to their communities, to the reflection of diversity and evolving national identity and general contribution to the 'public good'. The study reveals that while many Australians are unaware of the economic return produced by the sector they believe that creative skills produce opportunities in education and in work.
