The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications. The Australian Government announced a review of the AQF in the 2017-18 budget to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of students, employers, education providers and the wider community. A discussion paper was made available in December 2018.
In February and March 2019 the review panel held consultation sessions on the discussion paper across Australia. The review Chair gave a presentation at each session and wrote answers to key questions from stakeholders.
Stakeholders made 134 written submissions in response to the discussion paper and consultation sessions. These are now publicly available on the AQF Review website. Read more
