A joint media statement released by Tourism Minister Paul Papalia, and Sport and Recreation Minister Mick Murray has announced that Perth will host the 18th Australian Masters Games, one of Australia’s largest multi-sport festivals. The Australian Masters Games comprises of more than 50 different sports contended by people over the age of 30. It is expected the Australian Masters Games will attract more than 7,000 competitors and approximately 5,500 visitors to Perth. The sporting event will be accompanied by a wide range of social events, including live music and entertainment as well as showcasing Perth’s premium food and wine offering.
