Information and communications technology (ICT) graduates are encouraged to apply for the state Government's Digital Graduate Program, which invites students to kickstart their careers in the public sector. The new program takes a whole-of-Government approach to increasing technical capabilities and creating pathways for students, placing graduates in rotating placements across Government agencies including Departments of Education; Communities; Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction as well as WA Police and Health Support Services.
Working in collaboration with WA universities, the State Government is promoting the ICT pathways to attract a diverse range of graduates and build the public sector's digital capability.
