 The AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things (the AWESOME Festival) is set to return from September 28th 2020, marking the first physical festival in Perth since quarantine measures related to Covid-19 were announced in March. The 2020 AWESOME Festival will take place from 28th September to 2nd October in the Perth Cultural Centre. The Festival showcases an array of events including theatre, dance, music, film, literature, visual arts and creative hands-on activities, created for children 0-12 and their families. The 2020 festival will feature the world premiere of The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, a retelling of May Gibbs' classic picture book presented by the West Australian Ballet's Young Artists, WAAPA and Perth Symphony Orchestra.
