Privacy Act Review Report

The Attorney General has released the 116-page Privacy Act Review Report following 2 years of stakeholder consultation and policy review. The proposed reforms in the Report are intended to "strengthen the protection of personal information and the control individuals have over their information. Stronger privacy protections would support digital innovation and enhance Australia’s reputation as a trusted trading partner."
