Megatrends: The future of Australian sport

The second CSIRO report on the future of Australian sport has been released - December 2022. The initial report was released in 2013,
This latest report has identified 6 mega trends predicted to shape the future of Australian sport over the next decade. These include:

• a multi-disciplinary, convenient and ad-hoc approach to sport and exercise 
• advances in science and technology enhancing high performance sport and innovation
• continued rise of entertainment sport 
• sport playing a societal influential role reducing cultural and demographic gaps
• increased importance in inclusion, safety and sustainability in sport
• strategically adapting sport to manage uncertainty
