The Centre for the Future of Work has published research examining the impact of the pandemic on post secondary education - particularly the Higher education sector and proposed measures to assist recovery. An Avoidable Catastrophe: Pandemic Job Losses in Higher Education and their Consequences notes that the extent of job losses and accompanying casualisation of the work force may be expected to impact the quality of education in a context where many people are entering study for the first time or looking to reskill.
