Julie Hobbs Chief Executive Officer
Julie Hobbs is an experienced business person, creative practitioner and educator with a deep commitment to workforce development as a driver of economic, social and cultural capacity. Her capabilities in management education and the creative industries are informed by a range of qualifications and a multifaceted career that has encompassed the private and public spheres as well as engagement with the not for profit sector. Julie’s work in the private sector as a designer and as the co director of a manufacturing and export company have lead to an understanding of the spectrum of challenges facing enterprises operating in an unpredictable economic environment. Julie’s appreciation of the significance and complexity of the vocational training and education (VET) sector developed through work as a lead VET practitioner and more recently as a public sector consultant and manager.
