National Survey: Major Performing Arts Framework

Australia’s Arts and Cultural Ministers are seeking to identify ways in which the MPA Framework can be strengthened.  Anyone in the arts sector and those with an interest in Australian arts and culture are encouraged to have their say. 
The major performing arts sector supported under the MPA Framework comprises 28 leading companies in dance, theatre, circus, opera and orchestral and chamber music.
Survey responses will help inform a report on opportunities to strengthen the MPA Framework, which will be provided to the Meeting of Cultural Ministers later this year.
The Major Performing Arts companies employ approximately 10,500 people and reach about four million people through performances, school activities and workshops each year.
