FutureNow is Western Australia's recognised training council for the Creative and Leisure Industries incorporating the cultural, recreation, hospitality, tourism, information, media, telecommunications and printing industries.

FutureNow brings together industry leaders, training organisations and action groups to make recommendations to government regarding workforce development strategies for Western Australia. Working across the creative and leisure industries, FutureNow's mission is to facilitate the continual improvement of workforce skills to drive productivity and deliver a competitive edge for Western Australian companies now and into the future.

FutureNow membership categories:

 

FutureNow Full Membership -  For Organisations

By becoming a FutureNow full member, you will be recognised as a business, organisation, industry association or union that participates in:

  • skills development;
  • workforce development and planning;
  • career planning;
  • promotion of international best practice principles;
  • advocating workforce opportunities for all age groups;
  • encouraging training and employment in regional areas;
  • advocating multi-cultural training and employment; and
  • encouraging indigenous training and employment.

FutureNow Associate Membership - For Registered Training Organisations (free)

By becoming an associate member of FutureNow, you are demonstrating your commitment to people development. You support wider industry collaboration and action to ensure that there is an ongoing supply of people with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time. You will have access to industry experience and connections through our Board, and have access to a range of industry, government and education and training leaders.

By becoming a FutureNow associate member, you will be recognised as a training organisation that participates in:

  • skills development;
  • training package development and review;
  • workforce development and planning;
  • promotion of international best practice principles;
  • advocating workforce opportunities for all age groups;
  • encouraging training and employment in regional areas;
  • advocating multi-cultural training and employment; and
  • encouraging indigenous training and employment.
