The survey recorded medical centres coming in in second place, followed by automotive services. Professional services such as accountants, brokers and lawyers lagged behind with only 8 percent of respondents rating them as offering good customer service.
TrueLocal spokesperson, Bradley Taylor said, “It appears that Australians are associating good customer service with the services that make us feel good. Tax returns and getting finances and legalities in order are life admin tasks that don’t generally feature on the top of a consumer’s ‘fun’ list.
“Dining out, on the other hand, tends to be a pleasant experience shared with friends and family. Similarly, having our well being supported by a good doctor can make us feel cared for.”
