Parks & Leisure Australia (WA) is hosting a 3-day course addressing behaviour of individuals and crowds in places of mass gatherings that involve sports, entertainment, transport, festivals, street events and places of public assembly.  This international Crowd Safety course will be presented by Prof. Keith Still (Manchester Metropolitan University) for those involved with planning for crowd safety in places of public assembly. Drawing on extensive research and experience from event planning and crowd safety design projects around the world, the course will provide an understanding of the principles and applications of crowd dynamics and crowd risk analysis.
Venue operators, event officers and managers (sports, community and commercial), Local Government Authorities, security organisations, police officers with crowd management responsibilities, and architects working in the complex and built environment are encouraged to register.
