Through a partnership with the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), TAFE NSW will deliver a newly designed training program specifically for tour guides. As per ATEC, the program aims to increase the number of bilingual tour guides and improving the quality of service for Chinese visitors to Australia. The course will form part of a Certificate IV in Guiding, including core and industry-defined content with graduates receiving a “Statement of Attainment” from TAFE NSW.
