The filming took place at Woodvale Secondary College's fully equipped Trade Training Centre on Wednesday 13 August.
The stars of the show are Chefs Matt Connell and Chris Malone who worked well together to put up two beautiful dishes demonstrating technique and skill. Chris, who has recently completed his apprenticeship prepared a roasted loin of lamb using meat kindly supplied by Mondo Butchers. This, he paired with fondant potatoes and beetroot three-ways. Matt meanwhile, delivered a delicate reinvention of the classic lemon meringue pie for a sweet finish.
Both chefs provided a polished, yet fun portrayal of the industry and we commend them on their ability to perform under the unusual circumstances of 'lights, camera, action'.
The Film students too were incredibly professional and we are looking forward to seeing the finished product.
