Consultation for this project is underway, and PwC are inviting industry to participate in an interactive focus group session at their Perth office to help better align the needs of industry with training in Professional Editing and Writing. The purpose of the session is to gather views directly from employers, employees, and industry experts on the wider skills and requirements of those working as professional writers and editors in the modern Australian workforce. These insights will then feed into the development of training products.
To be part of one of these focus groups and share your knowledge and views about the development of Professional Writing and Editing, register your interest by sending an email with your name, organisation and the session you would like to attend to Blake Carroll via firstname.lastname@example.org.

What will be discussed
There is no need to prepare anything, PwC will be holding a small focus group conversation to understand how Professional Writing and Editing skills are developed in a cross-section of organisations, and the types of day-to-day activities that are performed that require these skills. This will help them get a view of the skills and training that are needed across Australia, as well as to form a larger view of the national Professional Writing and Editing landscape.
If you are unable to attend a focus group, but would still be interested in having a conversation, please email or contact PwC on 1800 714 819 to speak directly with a team member and provide your feedback.
