The Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) is reviewing all Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) to ensure the structure and membership provides the best possible industry coverage and expertise to support training package development for that industry sector. The IRCs are the formal mechanism through which industry’s skills needs are considered, defined and incorporated into national training packages. The proposed structure for the Cultural and Related Industries IRC is now available for comment on the AISC website.
Stakeholders with an interest in the structure and membership of the Cultural and Related Industries IRC may consider the proposed structure for this IRC and provide comment. Feedback will be managed by the AISC Secretariat within the department through the online feedback form.
The AISC Guiding Principles for the IRC review at https://www.aisc.net.au/content/aisc-guiding-principles-irc-review have been developed to assist stakeholders in preparing feedback. The AISC will be looking for IRC structures that reflect these principles.
Nomination of members
Please note that this is not a call for nominations. A second consultation round will take place once the IRC structure has been agreed.
The closing date for feedback on the IRC structure is COB Friday 6 January 2017. Find more information about the review on the AISC website.
